Beginning in Mwatate, the journey unfolds slowly across the sweeping Kishushe Plains, offering wide-open savannah views and a sense of calm. Along the way, you’ll connect with local culture at Kitukunyi Cultural Center, before concluding the day with a guided climb to the legendary Mwachora Rock.
Here, stories of the Taita people come alive—ancient customs, myths of Ms. Ngulu and her snake Mwamlalu, and breathtaking views where the Taita Hills stretch like an endless ocean.
